Business angel needed...
The latest news from Lewis PR about its big name global client win (we'll spare you the details...no doubt you'll be reading about it in PR Week soon) has sparked an idea for a new online business.
Basically, it's a virtual world where you're young, fit, slim and good looking and your life is filled with sports cars, homes in exotic locations, nights on the town and, best of all, you're accompanied by a foxy girl 20 years your junior. I'm calling it Second Wife (TM).
What do you think? It's a winner, right?

A global account team of 5 eh? Blimey they are going to be flat out if they have to do all the PR globally for Second Life. Also is Morgan McLintic going to have to do some work rather than just blog?

From the press release...
"The program will be lead by vice president, Morgan McLintic, who will coordinate global strategy and lead a team of five IN THE US."

So are you saying thats good because:
a) its a global account and the US is basically the world
b) 5 US based staff is the equivalent of about 30 european ones as they are so marvellous
c) the way they phrased it means it could be easily misunderstood to mean they have a team of five in the US, and similar teams in other offices?
None of the above.
Your original post said that there will be a global account team of five, which is a bit misleading. The press release said there will be a US team of five, with no mention of global teams' sizes.
I wasn't inferring anything, I just think you should maybe avoid trying to read a little bit too much between the lines when there really isn't any hidden message.
Maybe no hidden message...maybe just poorly written. Seems our buddy Figgis isn't the only one to take issue...check out this post and comments on Owen Lystrup's blog:
