The curse of the PR Weak Power Book....

It's only been a few weeks since the PR Weak Power Book came out (with a £5 cover price, thanks) but it's already looking like an Agatha Christie novel.

First, at least to our knowledge, it was Colonel Abrahams who left Waggener Edstrom because he felt, we guess, trapped, and so confused (subscription required).

Then this week, Stuart Smith.

Who's next?

Bruce? Please. Let it be Bruce....

Rumour has it that most of these 'gurus' had to pay hard cash to appear in said book. That would explain a lot. Love the fact that everyone in PR seems to read The Week, they all love Innocent Drinks, listen to Today and like a bit of chocolate. Does anyone really give two shits what they do on a Sunday morning? Good to see our top 150 are so visionary and well read...

Not one person paid to be in the book.

It's a bit like the Hello! curse, isn't it. Albeit far more glamourous.

you're rumour which apparently has it, is rubbish - you honestly think anyone would pay to enter the thing

Do they need to be well read to be very good at PR & Comms? Or are you perhaps being a bit of a snob?

I assume you:

Love bitter
Eat sharp citrus foods
Read Big Print
Listen to Fighting Talk

We'd like to scotch the ridiculous rumour that people paid to be in the Power Book.
Of course they did not.

anyone with any credibility would have paid not to appear
