Another new UK PR blog...

I notice that Paul Wooding of Weber Shandwick has set up a blog. It's called "note to editors..." (a phrase that often, of course, comes just a few words before...the world's leading... We'll take that as a compliment). There's just the one introductory post at the mo' but it's nicely written.

I've met Paul and he's a funny bloke (as a "wannabe stand up comedian" should be, really).

One to keep an eye on...

Why thankee. Yeah, sorry about the name of the blog being of the same ilk as TWL - I was trying to come up with something themed around work but which also had an industrial 80's Kraftwork/Joy Division-esque ring to it as well. Yes yes, I know that was ambitious and also a tiny bit w**k.

As a cheeky plug, the URL www.notetoeditors.co.uk is now live. I'm going to change my picture when I get five as well. At the moment it looks like I sell Celtic rune bracelets and wax candles from a beach hut in Dorset.

Presumably that explains your reference to 'Kraftwork' - as opposed to the well-known German group of a similar name (ie Kraftwerk)....

Nope, that was just a typo. As far as I know, the retailing of Celtic runes and wax candles have little effect on the accuracy of a writer/PRO. Though they do have a bearing on fashion and music sense which is why I'm wearing sandals and listening to Runrig...which I think is spelt correctly?

Don't get me started on Runrig - my missus is well into that nonsense, and she's not even a Scottish Nationalist.

I hope I didn't come across as too critical - any fan of Kraftwerk is ok by me.. ;-)
