At least it's in the UK...

Here's an interesting little post on the PR Studies blog of Richard Bailey from Leeds University (though the blog clearly just represents his personal views).

Blogging sweatshops? Really? How long until that's offshore?

interesting point. While I can see good reasons why this (ie TWL's) neccessarily-subversive blog should exist, in general I really can't see the point in doing a 9-5 PR job and then going home and spending the rest of the evening typing the same old bollox to a random virtual audience who probably couldn't give a sh*t what most PR bloggers say anyway...

does that make sense, or am I missing something..???

You misunderstand. Read my comment again and you will see that I am talking in general about PR blogs. I am specifically NOT talking about TWL.

I am all in favour of independent blogs - especially ones like this. I do not, however, see a point in corporate blogging.
